Mid January Blues

Well, it does not look like I will have the time to grind out enough VPPs this month to maintain my Platinum status at Pokerstars. Very disappointing start to the year. I am also down for the month.

As of today I am down another $86 this week. And for the year I am-$186. It is not a huge amount and playing$100NLH I can make that up very quickly.. The big problem has been lack of time and fatigue. I have worked more this month than usual and it has put a lot of pressure on my effort to maintain platinum and head for Supernova. ((I have had 10DNP's (DidNOT Plays))in 25 days this month! ) )Much more than normal)That pressure can lead to tilt and while I have suffered some tilt I think I've kept it pretty much in check so far. However I am still not feeling very comfortable playing. I am currently on a 5 day losing streak plus 2 DNP's in the past 7 days. This is very unusual for me. I have been avoiding the NLH tables and just playing around at O8 and FH. Definately hope to shake this in the next week and get back on track. I do not fancy a long term downtrend.

2007 Poker Goals

I am currently a Platinum VIP on Stars. BR just over $3k. Up about 10k+ in my poker career. Playing .50/1NLH 4-6 multitabling.

1. Continue to build BR without withdrawing from it to over $15K in 2007
2.As my BR builds to move up, 2007 goal is to be at least playing 2/4NLH(need about 12-15k ) and possibly as high as 5/10NLH(need 30k)
3.Platinum vip on stars every month and Supernova by September
4.Win seat to 2007 WSOP
5.Update my blog with greater regularity. At least once a week.
6.Start using PokerTracker for crying out loud!

I'm probably forgetting something....
