I had a very good short session today. As I was closing up my tables a hand of interest came up.

This hand was a real rarity in that 4 of us got allin and we all either had a draw to win outright or in my case was already there.
4 of us had limped in when the bb raised to $6 with KK. Once the two limpers in front of me called I decided I had a good chance at a big pot if I hit my 10 so I called down as well. One of the limpers behind me called and the sb folded. 4 of us saw the flop and what a flop!

4c 10s 7s

The big blind of course had the big overpair. The first caller had called with A6s so now had the nut flush draw. Oh but wait the second caller had 8s9s for the straight flush draw!! But I was sitting there with top set! This is a hand destined for fireworks! The bb tries to defend overpair by leading out for $15 into the $18.50 pot. This backfires as he is first called by the A high flush draw and pushed into by the straight flush draw. I am hoping I hold up as I push allin for my whole stack. Calls all around and as the 3h and 8d falls harmlessly I am able to scoop up and run! Very nice!

Preflop I had been only 16% to win this hand. After the flop I had become a big favorite slightly better than even money so I was now getting terrific pot odds. The straight flush was slightly better than the A high at about 3.8-1 and 4-1. The guy who started it all with KK was a 25-1 shot.

Anyway except for the blip on the 16th, the week is going pretty well. I have been very tired though and have not played a ton but still up over 4 buyins since Monday.
